Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Medical Surgical position in Nevada with a current NV RN license and ability to work day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Telemetry/Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift hours from 07:00 to 19:30 on a 12-hour schedule
• 26-week assignment length
• Must be available to work weekends
• Floating to other units is required
• Must be highly available to work the full schedule through the end of January and first week of February
• Both local and travel candidates are eligible at the same rate
• Initial compliance documents must be completed before starting; full compliance file required within two weeks of start date
• May be required to float to cover staffing needs in other units as necessary

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Medical Surgical nursing
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation/declination
• Negative TB test result required
• Drug screen and background check required shortly after the start date
