Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Medical Surgical night shift position requiring NV RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a telemetry/medical surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30 with 12-hour shifts
• 26-week assignment with weekend availability required
• Floating to other units as needed is required
• Must meet minimum compliance requirements before start, with full compliance completed within two weeks
• Drug screening and background check required after shift start
• Availability to work the full schedule through end of January and first week of February is highly preferred
• Both local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Weekend shifts are required

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in telemetry or medical surgical nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Compliance with MMR and Varicella vaccination or appropriate attestation/declination
• Negative TB test required
