Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an outpatient setting; candidates must hold CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT credentials and BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an outpatient facility with a focus on nuclear medicine
- Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekends or on-call required
- No floating between like units required for this position, but floating between facilities within the state may be expected
- EMR is Epic and Epic experience is required
- Caseload per tech is pending
- Scrub color is any color
- First-time travelers are accepted for this role
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility for submission
- Minimal to no time off is preferred; all requests for time off must be addressed during application
- Vaccination requirements may include COVID and flu as per facility policy
- Failure to float between facilities when required may result in assignment termination
Requirements
- Current CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT certification is required
- Current BLS certification is required
- New graduates are accepted for this position
- Pending state license accepted but must have license in hand within 4 weeks for consideration
- License required if applicable
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last three years are required
- Experience with Epic EMR system required
