Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position working night shifts, requiring a VT or compact RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting with Med/Surg and Telemetry patient populations
• Night and varied shifts are required
• Patient care may include adult, orthopedic, pediatric med/surg, observation, progressive care, critical care, and step-down cases
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• RNs will provide direct, age-specific nursing care using the nursing process according to department and specialty standards
• Leadership responsibilities include delegating work to other team members
• Must comply with all applicable state and federal healthcare laws and policies

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) are required prior to contract start, or a booked course by the start of clinical orientation
• De-escalation training must be completed prior to or at the start of clinical orientation
