Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT R and BLS certifications for a busy acute care and outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

Adult acute care and outpatient setting with pediatric outpatient responsibilities
Work schedule is 7:15 AM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (3x12 hour days)
Rotating call coverage on evenings, weekends, and as needed to cover vacations
Expectation to work 1 of 3 holidays during the contract
Must be able to perform bedside, portable, and trauma X-ray procedures using C-arm and PACS systems
Epic EMR experience is preferred
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Duties include conducting routine and specialized X-ray exams such as abdomen, chest, extremities, orbits, skull, trauma lower extremity, and portable studies
Adherence to isolation precautions required
Participation in call per departmental rotation and coverage of staff vacations expected
Limited to 3 called-off shifts per 13-week assignment, including on-call shifts used as call-off
Requests for time off should generally be kept within 3 days for the contract duration
No restriction on local candidates except for distance minimum
Professional attire required as per facility policy

Requirements

Current ARRT R and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year X-ray technologist experience
Experience with adult and pediatric outpatient imaging
Proficiency in a wide range of radiographic procedures including spine, extremities, chest, abdomen, and trauma imaging
Must possess a valid state license in hand (license required if applicable)
