Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on night shifts, requiring a WV or compact RN license and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
• Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule, with call depending on census
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio is 1:3
• Blocked scheduling is permitted
• Cerner EMR is preferred
• Navy blue scrubs are required
• Must clock in and out for payroll purposes
• Any missed shift must be made up within the same work week or pay period if possible
• Flu vaccination documentation is mandatory during the specified season
• Employment as a traveler is not permitted for former permanent staff within 2 years of prior employment at the facility

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN certifications from the American Heart Association
• Flu vaccine required during October-March flu season without exceptions
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome
