Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Cerner experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Adult and pediatric emergency patient population
- Patient ratio is 1:5
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours) with 36 hours on weekends
- Block scheduling, two shifts per week, or every weekend plus one additional shift are considered
- Must be willing to work holidays
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Flu vaccine required for employment
- Navy blue scrubs required; scrubs are not provided
- Local candidates within 60 miles will receive local rates
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years emergency nursing experience required
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS
- Skills in conscious sedation, telemetry, triage, and ventilator management required
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
