Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Mother/Baby experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Care for laboring mothers and postpartum mother/baby patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2
• Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7PM to 7AM, with every other weekend required
• Option to pick up a fourth shift if available
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Copy of driver’s license and Social Security card must be provided
• Holiday and every other weekend coverage are required
• First time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Mother/Baby experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS (via AHA), and NRP required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
