Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PACU RN with ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, and Level 1 Trauma experience for a day-shift opportunity in Ohio.

Responsibilities

Work in the PACU unit of a hospital setting
Patient population includes post-anesthesia care and recovery, with Level 1 Trauma cases
Uses telemetry and ventilators
Varying day shifts, primarily 5:00 to 17:30
Required to work 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule
No on-call responsibilities
No time off will be approved between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26
Daily responsibilities include monitoring post-anesthesia patients, managing telemetry and vented patients, and working closely with surgical teams
Work attire must comply with hospital policy
First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active OH or Compact RN license required
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Proficiency with telemetry and ventilator care
