Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a seasonal PCU night shift position in Nevada requiring an active NV RN license and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week seasonal assignment
- Adult patient population typical of a PCU setting
- Position is for travel RNs only; local candidates are not eligible
- Documentation required includes application, verification of license, certifications, and references
- Dress code and additional responsibilities will align with PCU standards of care
Requirements
- Active NV RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in PCU or related specialty
- At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
- U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional references as state-specific requirements
