Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a seasonal PCU night shift position in Nevada requiring an active NV RN license and NIH Stroke Scale certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week seasonal assignment
• Adult patient population typical of a PCU setting
• Position is for travel RNs only; local candidates are not eligible
• Documentation required includes application, verification of license, certifications, and references
• Dress code and additional responsibilities will align with PCU standards of care

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in PCU or related specialty
• At least 1 year of recent experience in the specialty
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional references as state-specific requirements
