Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a pediatric MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE MRI systems proficiency for a Level I pediatric trauma center assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a children's hospital MRI department serving pediatric patients
• Day shift schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (3x12s)
• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center setting
• Strictly pediatric population requiring prior pediatric imaging experience
• Use of GE MRI systems required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• No local candidates accepted within 100 miles of the facility
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• Must be willing to work a combination of major holidays if scheduled during assignment
• Rehire candidates must be separated for at least one year to be eligible
• No first-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Assignment requires working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary pediatric imaging team
• Returning former staff should confirm eligibility prior to submitting an application
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification required
• Minimum of 2 years recent MRI Technologist experience required, including pediatric experience
• Proficiency with GE MRI systems is required
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required
• Driver’s license required for consideration
• No pending licenses accepted—full compliance with NLC guidelines required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be able to provide documentation of vaccination status
• All requested time off must be stated at time of application
