Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3 NICU night shift travel assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and NRP certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Level 3 NICU caring for critically ill newborns
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Provide specialized nursing care for high-acuity neonatal patients
- NICU team environment with multidisciplinary collaboration
- References required in line with state submission rules
- No Canadian Social Security Numbers will be accepted
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent NICU experience
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Advanced 9th Edition) from the American Academy of Pediatrics required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
