Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3 NICU night shift travel assignment requiring a TX or compact RN license and NRP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a Level 3 NICU caring for critically ill newborns
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Provide specialized nursing care for high-acuity neonatal patients
  • NICU team environment with multidisciplinary collaboration
  • References required in line with state submission rules
  • No Canadian Social Security Numbers will be accepted

Requirements

  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent NICU experience
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Advanced 9th Edition) from the American Academy of Pediatrics required
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
