Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT certifications, and an active WA license for an outpatient breast imaging setting.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an outpatient breast imaging clinic within a medical office building
- Performs breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography for adult and geriatric patients
- Procedures performed include 3D mammography, diagnostic, digital, and screening mammograms
- Work schedule is Monday through Friday, day shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM), no weekends or holidays
- One weekday off determined by unit needs, most commonly Tuesday or Wednesday
- Utilizes Epic EMR, Epic experience required
- Hologic equipment experience is preferred
- Travelers may be required to float to other facilities within the state as needed
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Former permanent staff of any Providence facility (excluding Swedish) must be separated for at least 3 months before eligible for a travel contract
- All travelers are expected to float within state facilities as required
- Orientation is 8 hours
- Scrubs of any color are permitted
- Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is preferred and must be addressed before submission
- Local candidates are accepted
- References from two supervisory personnel covering one year within the last three years are required for consideration
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Active WA state license required (license required if applicable)
- Current ARRT, ARRT (M), and BLS certifications required
- Experience in outpatient breast imaging and proficiency in required procedures
- Ability to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Epic EMR experience required
