Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and one prior travel assignment for a Level I Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab at a Level I Trauma Center
• Day shifts consisting of 4x10 hour shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, subject to interview clarification
• Some weekend and on-call coverage required as needed
• Not open to block scheduling
• Assignment does not accept local candidates; must live at least 100 miles from facility
• Floating between campuses is rare and will only occur within clinical scope if necessary
• No first-time travelers will be considered
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major end-of-year holidays if assignment covers Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's; if only 2 holidays fall in the assignment, must work at least 1
• Returning travelers must be separated from prior employment for at least one year to be eligible
• Active compliance with NLC license guidelines required
• Facility requires strict adherence to application and documentation guidelines
• No double submissions to the same health system are permitted

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab or IR tech experience, with 3 years preferred
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required
• Current and active applicable state or compact license; pending licenses not accepted
• Driver’s license required at consideration
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Vaccination status must be provided
• All requested time off must be included with initial application
