Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit performing minimally invasive procedures for both inpatient and outpatient cases
- Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour day shifts per week from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Alternating weekends and participation in a call rotation are required
- Responsibilities include patient positioning, radiographic examinations, and operation of a variety of radiographic equipment
- Duties include providing high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation and maintaining supplies and equipment
- Strong commitment to professionalism and customer service in accordance with facility standards
- Ongoing participation in continuing education and in-service training is expected
- Adherence to all system policies to ensure delivery of high-quality service
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience
- Current ARRT or NMTCB certification required
- Current and valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- South Carolina state radiologic technologist license (SCQRSA) required if applicable
- Must be proficient with sterile technique and able to ensure proper patient positioning
- Familiarity with all radiographic equipment and ability to operate independently
