Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a LA or compact license, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of OR nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Full-time position with day shifts (3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00)
• Includes 5x8 hour shifts plus call responsibilities
• Cares for patients undergoing orthopedic, general (DaVinci), and trauma procedures
• Floating may be required in accordance with policies and based on experience
• Requests for time off should be minimal, especially during the first two weeks and no full weeks off during the assignment
• May be required to work some holidays
• Completion of HealthStream modules required prior to start
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• A copy of your driver's license and SSN must be submitted for credentialing

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required, 5 years preferred
• Experience with orthopedic, DaVinci-assisted, and trauma procedures required
• Travel nursing experience requested
