Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift assignment with travel experience and a NC or compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am with option to flex to 4x12 if available
• Work schedule includes weekdays, every other weekend, and holiday coverage
• EMR system is Meditech; experience preferred
• Responsible for delivering care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Position is open to local candidates
• CPI training is available onsite for eligible travelers

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• CPI/CIC certification preferred; may be obtained onsite for assignments longer than three months
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required; 3 years preferred
• Previous travel RN experience required
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
