Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a WY or compact license and ACLS/BLS for a rotating shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital operating room (OR) setting
• Responsibilities include both circulation and scrub roles
• Rotating shift schedule
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of perioperative care
• Provide patient education based on individual needs
• Implement protocols and physician orders, coordinating with the healthcare team
• Delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel
• Maintain required continuing education units (CEUs) annually
• Effective communication, customer service, and organizational skills required
• Ability to work independently and learn new software systems

Requirements

• Active WY or compact RN license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant operating room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
