Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring ARRT or ARMRIT and a WA Radiology Tech license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an MRI department in a hospital setting
• Primarily works independently performing MRI scans and related procedures
• Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, 8-hour evening shifts
• Requires availability for emergency standby coverage off-hours and on weekends
• May include work at multiple locations
• Responsible for direct patient care and accurate execution of provider orders
• Documents patient information in accordance with established guidelines
• Expected to adhere to ASRT, ARMRIT, and ARRT standards of practice
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Completion of required online modules during orientation
• Professional scrubs appropriate for a hospital environment

Requirements

• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification
• Active WA Radiology Tech license required if applicable
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Ability to administer contrast and IVs per policy
• Must be able to work unsupervised and follow established procedures
