Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and strong critical care skills for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting of a hospital
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Caring for critically ill adult patients
• Uses EPIC EMR system; experience preferred
• Provide comprehensive critical care to a diverse patient population
• Must adhere to hospital protocols and documentation standards
• All local and travel candidates considered at the same rate
• Assignment duration is limited per HR tenure policies for contingent workers

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time ICU experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred
• CCRN certification and dialysis/SLED experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and DOB required for consideration
