Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN with Labor & Delivery experience and active OK or compact license for night shift assignments.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital labor and delivery unit
• Provides care for expectant mothers and newborns before, during, and after childbirth
• Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs, manage pain including epidurals, and assist with both vaginal and surgical deliveries
• Educate families on postpartum recovery and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team
• Must be able to work effectively under stress with minimal supervision
• Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
• All positions are auto offer
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to facility radius rules
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• NRP certification from AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics required
• Minimum of 1 year recent labor and delivery RN experience
• Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must have a US Social Security Number and US address (no international addresses accepted)
• Copy of Driver’s License required
