Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology night shift position requiring oncology certification and a CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Care for patients with oncology diagnoses in a med/surg environment
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and medical-surgical patients
• Holiday coverage may be required per department policies
• Must submit required documents including license verification and applicable certifications
• Dress code will follow hospital policy for the Med/Surg Oncology unit

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Oncology
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Oncology (ONC) certification required for all RNs working in oncology
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Reference requirement: One professional reference for Colorado
• No local candidates; must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
