Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift position in a hospital burn unit, requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the burn unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for patients with acute and critical burn injuries
- Responsibilities include providing specialized care to burn patients
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months considered
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
- Required documentation includes US Social Security number and date of birth, with no exceptions
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent burn or specialty experience
- AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, valid through the first 30 days of employment
- NIH Stroke Certification required for burn unit RNs
