Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift position in a hospital burn unit, requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the burn unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care for patients with acute and critical burn injuries
• Responsibilities include providing specialized care to burn patients
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months considered
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Required documentation includes US Social Security number and date of birth, with no exceptions

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent burn or specialty experience
• AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, valid through the first 30 days of employment
• NIH Stroke Certification required for burn unit RNs
