Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a critical access hospital role in the Emergency Department, requiring recent critical access hospital experience and a NE or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 15-bed critical access hospital setting
- No division of units; RN will cover ER, Med/Surg, and clinic responsibilities
- Three shifts per week with every other weekend required
- RNs will manage patient care across ER, Med/Surg, and clinic within one shift
- Must be comfortable working independently in a small hospital environment
- May be required to float between different units within the facility as needed
Requirements
- Active NE or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a critical access hospital
- Current CPR certification required
- Additional specialty certifications may be required depending on clinical area
