Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00)
• Care for medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring
• Telemetry equipment used for continuous monitoring
• EMR system and hours tracking completed through Qualivis – Lotus
• Must work at least every other holiday during the assignment
• Assignments at any location within the health system cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a minimum six month wait before starting a new assignment
• Orientation includes assessments required for telemetry and medication safety
• Dress code and further onboarding details will be provided during orientation

Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN or compact state license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Acceptable performance on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation
• Two professional references required for consideration
