Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Wyoming, requiring a WY or compact RN license and 2 years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Obstetrics (OB) unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment on a Women's Services unit
• Care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility to qualify for travel rate
• Electronic timekeeping system used for clocking in and out
• No previous employment gaps exceeding 90 days in the last year accepted
• Time off requests must comply with assignment guidelines and approval process
• Required to follow facility compliance and documentation protocols

Requirements

• Active WY or compact state RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment; renewals must be completed prior to start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Must not currently hold any permanent position at any location with the health system
