Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Preop/PACU orthopedic day position requiring a current CO or compact RN license and strong OR and PACU skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in the orthopedic operating room with responsibilities in both circulating and PACU roles
• Handles both ortho and general surgery cases
• Day shift schedule with no on-call or weekend requirements
• Position is a 13-week assignment
• May have the option to share a 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment for housing, subject to availability
• Housing is non-smoking and no pets allowed
• Responsibilities include circulating during procedures and providing post-anesthesia care for orthopedic and general surgery patients

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant RN experience
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required
• Experience with circulating in the OR and PACU required
• Permanent address must be at least 65 miles from the facility; local travelers will not be considered
