Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a MD or compact RN license and three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• Night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend shifts are required
• Floating required to other Med/Surg Telemetry units within the facility
• No on-call responsibilities
• Royal blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Only one request for time off (RTO) will be considered
• Local candidates are accepted on the same terms as travelers
• No block scheduling accommodations are available

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum three years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Two professional references needed for consideration
• Pending state license accepted
