Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift inpatient rehab position in New Mexico, requiring an active NM or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an inpatient rehab and med/surg unit setting
• Night shifts from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Floating between med/surg and rehab units is required
• RTO (requested time off) requests must be less than one week
• Responsibilities include providing nursing care to rehab patients and floating as needed
• No interviews required for this position; offers are made automatically after compliance review
• All required documentation must be provided before start date
• First-time travelers are eligible for this opportunity

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience in an inpatient rehab or similar setting
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• No previous permanent employment at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
• Certifications must be valid and not expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible
