Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (R)(MR), NYS Radiologic Technologist License, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Hospital setting with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Responsibilities include magnetic resonance imaging procedures and contrast injections
Occasional weekend shifts are required
Role involves direct patient care and performing high-quality MRI exams
Travelers must complete required educational modules prior to assignment start
Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate if residing within 60 miles
Candidates with prior employment at certain health systems may be subject to an eligibility review process

Requirements

Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License
NYS Injection License required
R.T. (R)(MR) ARRT certification
BLS certification from AHA required
Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience as an MRI Technologist
License required if applicable
Two professional references or evaluations from previous year in current specialty from a manager or above
