Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and nuclear imaging procedures, with BLS, ARRT(N), and NMTCB certifications required.

Responsibilities

Position based in a hospital nuclear medicine department
Adult patient population
Procedures performed include gastric emptying studies, HIDA scan, MUGA scan, PET scan, 3-phase bone scan, limited and whole body imaging, and liver scan for hemangioma
Uses Siemens nuclear medicine equipment
Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekend and daily call required after 5:00 PM
First-time travelers are accepted
Care for adult patients in a collaborative hospital setting
Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted

Requirements

Active BLS, ARRT(N), and NMTCB certifications
Minimum of 1 year nuclear medicine technologist experience
Experience operating Siemens nuclear medicine systems
Must be proficient in nuclear medicine studies including PET scan and cardiac imaging
License required if applicable
