Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring advanced neuro surgical experience and Da Vinci Xi proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a hospital Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Patient population includes trauma, general, neuro, ortho, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases
• Day shifts, 4x10 hours scheduled from 07:00 to 17:30
• Call is required as part of the schedule
• Must have experience in Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Main responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for complex surgical procedures in a trauma OR environment
• First time travelers are accepted, provided all other requirements are met
• Scrubs are provided at no cost
• Pre-start modules must be completed before beginning the assignment
• Must comply with the one-year return staff policy

Requirements

• Active MT or Compact RN license
• Minimum of 3 years prior Operating Room RN experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required
• Required neuro OR experience includes: ALIF, Anterior Cervical Fusion, Cervical Fusions, Craniotomy, Insertion of VP Shunt, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, and XLIF
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must reside at least 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
• References required for consideration
