Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg position on a D/N rotating schedule in Massachusetts, requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
  • Care for adult patients supported by the White 8 EOC team
  • D/N rotating shifts are required
  • EPIC charting system is used and prior experience is recommended
  • Responsibilities include individualized nursing care, assessment, medication administration, monitoring, and care plan modification
  • Must maintain accurate reports and secure confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills are essential
  • Familiarity with EPIC is an advantage
  • Permanent residence must be at least 60 miles from the hospital for travel pay eligibility
  • Public transportation and parking are available but parking is not validated; daily parking rates apply
  • First time travelers are eligible to apply

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license is required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted)
  • BLS certification from AHA is required
  • No minimum years of experience required for consideration
  • Must provide primary source verification of nursing license
  • FLU vaccination is required with no exemptions permitted
