Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong orthopedics and ophthalmology skills for a day shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and a SC or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a surgery center operating room environment
• Primary cases include strong orthopedics and ophthalmology (eyes)
• Day shift schedule: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, four days per week
• No weekend or major holiday shifts required
• Rotating late schedule twice a week to wrap up cases as needed
• Responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures in both orthopedic and ophthalmology specialties
• Team members participate in rotating late coverage based on case schedules
• No weekend or major holiday work is expected for this assignment

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Prior experience in operating room nursing with orthopedic and ophthalmology cases is preferred
