Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT and BLS certifications and trauma center experience for a bi-campus role.
Responsibilities
- Work in an interventional radiology department covering two campuses
- Short term acute care, Level I Trauma Center with over 1000 beds
- Day shifts with four days per week: two 12-hour shifts (7:30am–8:00pm) and two 8-hour shifts (7:00am–3:30pm or 11:30am–8:00pm)
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- Bi-campus coverage between York Street and Saint Raphael Campuses
- Epic EMR system in use
- Scrubs in Misty Green color are provided
- Position may require floating between two campuses to meet facility needs
- Return permanent staff must have a two-year break before being considered as a traveler
- Facility may auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off; more than 7 days requires approval
- A 75-mile radius rule applies; local candidates are not accepted unless otherwise specified
- Participation in emergency response or natural disaster activities may be required
Requirements
- ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology experience
- Trauma center experience at a large facility required
- Must have an active license prior to start date; pending license accepted for consideration
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations allowed
- COVID vaccine and booster required unless religious or medical exemption is granted
- License required if applicable
