Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of trauma center experience and proficiency in Siemens equipment for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a large, short-term acute care Level I Trauma Center
• Work in the MRI department with a primary focus on adult acute care patients
• Evening shift Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, with weekend coverage required
• Uses Siemens MRI scanners exclusively
• Epic is used for charting and experience with Epic is required
• Staff must wear royal blue scrubs
• Responsibilities include performing high-quality MRI imaging studies in accordance with established protocols
• Must collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a high-acuity environment
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility unless applying as a Nuclear Med Tech or CT Tech
• Returning employees must have been gone for at least 2 years to be considered as travelers
• Request for time off beyond 7 days requires approval
• Monthly parking is available for a fee

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience in a large trauma center
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems required
• Current flu vaccination is required with no declinations accepted
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required, with exemptions for religious or medical reasons only
• One professional reference required for consideration
• License required if applicable
