Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health contract position covering multiple counties, requiring home health experience and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering Cherokee, Spartanburg, Union, and a small area of Greenville counties
• Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 to 18:30
• Patient visits must meet a minimum of 7.5 units per shift
• Position requires floating within the scope of assignment as needed
• Mileage is reimbursed for travel between patient homes
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
• Responsibilities include providing in-home therapy services across assigned counties
• Candidate must include all requested time off (RTO) during initial consideration; late RTO requests will not be approved
• No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius
• Attendance policy restricts absences to no more than two shifts per 13-week contract unless reasonably explained
• Cardiac Dysrhythmia testing is required at orientation, with only one opportunity to pass
• This position does not accommodate block scheduling

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PT home health experience is required; 2 years preferred
• Pending state license accepted if obtained prior to start
• Strong time management and organizational skills for independent fieldwork
