Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a MS/Peds Float Pool night shift position, requiring pediatric experience and multiple certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Medical Surgical floor with 8 pediatric beds as part of the float pool
• Care for both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Patient ratios are 1:5 for adults and 1:4 for pediatrics
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend required
• Uses Epic EMR system
• No call or on-call requirements
• Float between adult and pediatric MS units as needed based on hospital census
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to manage a diverse patient caseload
• Must adhere to one-time requested time off restriction
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Block scheduling is not accommodated

Requirements

• Active MD or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in both adult and pediatric medical surgical settings
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security Card required
• Pending license will be considered
