Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift contract with EKG exam and certification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department with combined adult and pediatric patient populations
- 3x12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
- Patient ratio is 1:4
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy skills required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
- General ED experience with both adult and pediatric populations required
- Charge experience preferred
- TNCC, CPI, and MAB certifications preferred
