Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Massachusetts requiring at least 4 years of RN experience and an active MA license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Requires working every other weekend and holidays
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• Patients will be adults and children presenting with emergency needs
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• Responsibilities include providing emergency care, triaging, and responding to critical situations
• Must be willing to work as part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary ED team
• Orientation to timekeeping system (UKG/Kronos) will be provided
• Parking is not validated; public transportation and paid lots are available
• Assignment is open only to candidates whose last name begins with M-Z

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required with no pending status allowed
• Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing and Level 1 trauma experience required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
