Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Massachusetts requiring at least 4 years of RN experience and an active MA license.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00 with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Requires working every other weekend and holidays
- Epic EMR is used and experience is required
- Patients will be adults and children presenting with emergency needs
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
- Responsibilities include providing emergency care, triaging, and responding to critical situations
- Must be willing to work as part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary ED team
- Orientation to timekeeping system (UKG/Kronos) will be provided
- Parking is not validated; public transportation and paid lots are available
- Assignment is open only to candidates whose last name begins with M-Z
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required with no pending status allowed
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of travel nursing and Level 1 trauma experience required
- Current BLS certification through AHA required
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions allowed
