Description

American Traveler is seeking a Telemetry RN with an active MA license and AHA BLS/ACLS certification for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Work in a hospital Telemetry unit caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Utilizes Epic EMR for charting
• Patient care includes rhythm monitoring, hemodynamic status evaluation, cardiac medication and drip administration, management of temporary pacemakers, and assistance with cardio versions

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; pending or conditional licenses not accepted
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to care for critically ill and cardiac patients
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Responsible for monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and recognizing life-threatening complications
• Assists with emergency and elective cardio versions and temporary pacemaker insertion
• Must interact effectively with interdisciplinary teams and patients across various age groups
• Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital are eligible but paid a reduced rate
• Parking costs may apply as validated parking is not provided at most locations
