Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS/ACLS certifications.
Details
- Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift: 19:00-07:30
- 13-week assignment duration
- Use of Epic charting system
- May be asked to float to other units to perform supportive tasks such as vital signs, IV placement, and answering phones
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
- Parking may not be validated and public parking rates may apply
- Must be prepared to provide nursing care based on assessment, diagnosis, and patient care planning
- May be required to work assigned holidays as per hospital guidelines
