Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS/ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift: 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment duration
• Use of Epic charting system
• May be asked to float to other units to perform supportive tasks such as vital signs, IV placement, and answering phones
• Flu vaccination is required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• Parking may not be validated and public parking rates may apply
• Must be prepared to provide nursing care based on assessment, diagnosis, and patient care planning
• May be required to work assigned holidays as per hospital guidelines

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills
