Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg unit position requiring an AL or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based on a Medical/Surgical unit (Unit/Floor 4) in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes general Med/Surg adult cases
• Night shifts, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Local travelers are not accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Compliance with hospital policies and procedures is expected
• Successful candidates must provide all required documentation prior to consideration

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license required
• At least one year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• No lapses in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No certification may expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Travelers who have worked as perm staff at any CHS facility in the last two years will not be considered
