Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Operating Room position requiring large Level 1 trauma and strong vascular experience.
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Level 1 trauma cases with emphasis on vascular and endovascular procedures
- Holiday and weekend coverage required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing on surgical cases with emphasis on trauma and vascular procedures
- High ratings on skills checklist are required
- No block scheduling available
- Up-to-date resume including relevant OR experience is required for consideration
- Two recent supervisor or manager references related to OR required
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience in a large Level 1 trauma center Operating Room required
- Strong vascular and endovascular skills required
