Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Operating Room position requiring large Level 1 trauma and strong vascular experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital-based Operating Room setting
  • Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Level 1 trauma cases with emphasis on vascular and endovascular procedures
  • Holiday and weekend coverage required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing on surgical cases with emphasis on trauma and vascular procedures
  • High ratings on skills checklist are required
  • No block scheduling available
  • Up-to-date resume including relevant OR experience is required for consideration
  • Two recent supervisor or manager references related to OR required

Requirements

  • Active GA or compact RN license required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Experience in a large Level 1 trauma center Operating Room required
  • Strong vascular and endovascular skills required
