Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with previous travel experience and a current NV RN license.

Responsibilities

Position is in the hospital Operating Room
Caseload includes heavy spine (laminectomy, fusion), ENT (septoplasty, TRUDI, tonsil), ortho (total joints, MAKO), and general (Davinci) procedures
Day shift schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:30 to 17:00, with one day off (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday)
Includes approximately two overnight call shifts per month
Travelers may work alongside peri-op 101 nurses or students
Travelers are expected to mentor and work with peri-op 101 nurses or nursing students for much of the assignment
Limited time off will be approved during the contract
First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
Blocked scheduling requests will not be accommodated

Requirements

Active NV RN license required
Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience
Previous travel nursing experience in the Operating Room required
CNOR certification preferred
