Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a TX or compact license and advanced certifications to work night shifts and float to PCU as needed.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in the ICU of a hospital setting
• Will float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
• Night shifts available: 3x12 or 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Travelers scheduled for 84 hours biweekly
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
• Responsible for providing critical care and support to ICU patients and may cover PCU when needed
• Must have all required certifications attached for consideration
• Standard night shift hours with flexible 3 or 4-day schedule per week

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and either Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Travel RN experience preferred
• Two supervisor references from the last three years required
