Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position requiring a CA license and at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in an outpatient occupational therapy department within an acute care hospital
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Weekend coverage required for one weekend day (typically Sunday) every other weekend
- Floating may be required to acute rehab and other inpatient floors
- EMR utilized is Epic; EMR experience required
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
- Requested time off must be included at time of consideration; schedule change requests after confirmation may be denied
- Free parking is available onsite
- Dress code requires solid royal blue scrubs for clinicians
Requirements
- Current CA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Locals are accepted
- Pending licenses not accepted
