Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an outpatient position requiring a CA license and at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in an outpatient occupational therapy department within an acute care hospital
Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
Weekend coverage required for one weekend day (typically Sunday) every other weekend
Floating may be required to acute rehab and other inpatient floors
EMR utilized is Epic; EMR experience required
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility
All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
Requested time off must be included at time of consideration; schedule change requests after confirmation may be denied
Free parking is available onsite
Dress code requires solid royal blue scrubs for clinicians

Requirements

Current CA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
Locals are accepted
Pending licenses not accepted
