Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to provide rehabilitation therapy in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

Work in a skilled nursing facility providing rehabilitation therapy services
Day shift schedule from 9am to 5pm
13-week assignment
Collaborative interdisciplinary rehab team with supportive leadership
Well-equipped rehabilitation department
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions focusing on resident independence
Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
Timely and accurate documentation of treatments and resident progress
Supportive, resident-centered work culture
Flexible scheduling options are available
No COVID-19 vaccination requirement stated

Requirements

Active California Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred
Strong clinical and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
