Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience to provide rehabilitation therapy in a skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a skilled nursing facility providing rehabilitation therapy services
  • Day shift schedule from 9am to 5pm
  • 13-week assignment
  • Collaborative interdisciplinary rehab team with supportive leadership
  • Well-equipped rehabilitation department
  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions focusing on resident independence
  • Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Timely and accurate documentation of treatments and resident progress
  • Supportive, resident-centered work culture
  • Flexible scheduling options are available
  • No COVID-19 vaccination requirement stated

Requirements

  • Active California Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience
  • Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
