Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Sonographer with ARDMS and BLS (AHA) certifications for an acute care ultrasound assignment using Epic.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care ultrasound unit
• Average of 15-18 exams performed per shift
• 12-hour shifts including both days and nights: Monday 7a-7p, Tuesday 7a-7p, Wednesday 7p-7a
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Work schedule includes day and night shifts as listed
• EMR system used is Epic
• A 50-mile radius rule applies to all candidates
• No local travelers permitted per policy
• Travelers with previous employment at any WVU Medicine location must have a 2-year break before reapplying
• Candidates cannot work at any WVU facility for longer than one year without a 2-year break, based on cumulative experience
• Orientation is not provided for this assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer
• Current ARDMS certification required (any version accepted)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• License required if applicable
• A copy of an unexpired driver's license is required for consideration
