Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring ICU experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Position is in the PACU of a hospital setting
Involves care for pediatric PACU cases, Phase I and Phase II recovery, and Pre-post procedures
Three 12-hour night shifts and four 10-hour evening shifts available, with rotation between 1300-2330 and 1900-0730
Call coverage required from 2300-0700 Monday through Friday as needed
No weekend or additional on-call shifts
First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
Locals within 60 miles are eligible to apply
Main responsibilities include post-anesthesia care and recovery for a range of patient ages

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license required
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
Minimum of 2 years RN experience with ICU experience required
Experience with pediatric PACU, Phase I/II recovery, and Pre-post procedures required
